One of my ideas was to experiment with the idea of a stencil over hair. I have substituted the stencil for a clipping mask on photoshop. I think that it would still be interesting to experiment with using a cardboard stencil in this way though. I think that the 3d effect of this practice is lost when it's created in photoshop.
I chose this image (which I cropped) because it has an interesting shine towards the bottom.
I think that these are still relatively successful especially the white and black backgrounds.
