Alphabet Summer Brief

When I recieved this brief over the summer I felt slightly terrified. I have never felt confident with really self evaluating briefs. I usually area my work around the world around me as oppose to looking deep into myself! I thought I would try and express this in my designs by not making any largly obvious references to my character. I based my design on the fact that I am a very messy, cluttered, scatty person. I hoard everything; from tickets, flyers, letters and postcards, to scraps of paper with practically illegible messages on. I began by making a series of mixed media collages which I then stencilled out elements of to create my letters.
